The Minoans were named after the legendary king Minos and were very peace-loving community. They tended to live in peace with very little protection from people on the outside. They built things out of clay and bronze. And had goldsmiths for royalty. They built there castle with open doors and no gate and had no guards. They had one ruler and worshipped there gods for good harvests.
The Mycenaean’s were from the Peloponnesian Peninsula. The Mycenae’s were battle people. They were into military strength and war. Thye had bronzesmiths and goldsmiths that made war weapons and royal things. They built weapons and tools for war and had high protection. They decorated most of their art with pictures of war scenes and battles. They ended up taking over the Minoans on Crete.
Some of the thinks that stayed with the later parts in ancient Greece were the culture. The pottery and stories were told by the storytellers. The way they use their drainage and how the used pipes that lead to the outside from the tub. Their form of government was used a little later on and then was taken over.
